About 4 years ago I found out what my primary fear was concerning being in and keeping a mutual, wonderful intimate marriage. The light went on, so to speak, and ever since not only have I been standing on a fresh, new platform to live my life from, but the things I give to others assists them in uncovering their barriers to love as well.
We grow up with a lot of mixed messages about what a relationship is. Most of those messages arise from our dysfunctional family lives and TV and from deep down in our subconscious. But these days, in far greater numbers than in the past, people are seeking for real connection, spiritual healing, hope, and freedom from the tyranny of their thoughts. Fortunately, the answers are inside of you. It’s no longer about measuring up, having the correct background, career or degree, circulating in the right crowds, speed dating or being a part of the perfect online dating service. The Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for positive realization in your experience.
“God’s will for me is perfect happiness” This is a workbook lesson from “A Course in Miracles.” Sometimes I think spiritual people do not think it is okay to have wants, goals or something to aspire to. This is our inner creative impulse. Made in the image and likeness, it is part of who we are to contain the urge to expand and express with whatever method is helpful to you. Coming together in relationships is one way we create, heal, and remember who we are. Oftentimes I have found my love relationship to be the base for joyous personal growth, the reflection of my unhealed ego and opportunity to deeply let go and let God. It is all those things and so much more.
If having mutually affectionate, lasting love relationship is something that makes your heart sing, and once you truly understand that God desires for you to be wonderfully fulfilled, expressed, perfect and happy, the single question left is “Why do you imagine you have not experienced success?” The bottom line answer is fear. Fear manifests in quite a few different disguises, justifications, and excuses. In the end, we fear understanding ourselves as the love that we are. You can manifest perfect Law of Attraction Relationships when you free yourself from fear and bondage.
It isn’t un-spiritual to want love, sex, excitement, intimacy, laughter, and play. It is un-spiritual to suppress your passions and your talent. I get fear, I was one of the most resistant people I knew when it came to truly allowing my guard down. If you desire to experience your life in perfect partnership you must take back your power, take 100 percent responsibility for your actions and ask for Spirit to take over. Clearly what you have been doing hasn’t been working. Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the exact level of consciousness that manifested it”. You have to take it to a higher level. Thankfully we have self-help sessions, trained professionals, counselors, coaches and even home study courses to assist us in seeing what is in the way of developing lasting loving relationships.
A loving, fulfilled intimate relationship is possible for any person who wants it. Will it always be fun? No. The ego would not ever allow you off the hook that easily. But I know for sure that what you’re seeking is trying to find you. So find some assistance to help you move the blocks out of your way, and I wish you all the fulfillment your heart can contain.
